Brazil welcomes PM Modi with vedic chants and traditional festivities ahead of G20 summit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed by Brazilian Vedic scholars chanting Sanskrit mantras upon his arrival in Brazil for the G20 summit on Monday.
The train connecting Secunderabad with Visakhapatnam will be the first to connect the two Telugu-speaking states, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, covering a distance of around 700 km.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat Express train connecting Secunderabad with Visakhapatnam tomorrow via video conferencing.
The train, the eighth Vande Bharat Express to be introduced by the Indian Railways, will be the first to connect the two Telugu-speaking states, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, covering a distance of around 700 km.
It will have stoppages at Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry and Vijayawada stations in Andhra Pradesh and at Khammam, Warangal and Secunderabad stations in Telangana.

The indigenously designed train set of Vande Bharat Express is equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities and will provide a faster, more comfortable and more convenient travel experience to rail users.
India launched its first semi-high-speed train, Vande Bharat Express, in 2019. The train, developed by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, has an intelligent braking system, enabling better acceleration and deceleration.
All the coaches are equipped with automatic doors, a GPS-based audio-visual passenger information system, onboard Wi-Fi and comfortable seats. The executive class has rotating chairs.
